Outside of Yangshou, an agrarian town is hard at work. Here a cyclist enters the image while my camera mechanism rotates left to right to make the image.

Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception
Bryce Canyon - panoramic image
The awe-inspiring Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception was reportedly Denver’s first Catholic church. Distinguished by two limestone-and-granite towers, the beautiful Gothic structure features impressive architectural elements and ornate appointments. Inside, a Carrara marble altar and bishop’s chair add majesty, as does sacred statuary. Seventy-five stained glass windows, imported from Munich, illuminate the church. Multiple mass services are held daily.
Bryce Canyon is a beautiful spot in Utah. Often photographed and displayed in color, I've chosen to display this image as a B&W to emphasize the texture from the errosion that has taken place over time.
The countryside in this part of China is clearly some of the most exquisite in the world... there are not too many places like this on this earth. The karst peaks (limestone) have eroded into beautiful spires that have inspired the great artists of China's most beautiful works. It almost doesn't seem real when you see this landscape in Chinese paintings, but they are quite real.
Within the shadows...
Somewhere deep within the Angkor site, a quiet and unassuming passageway hides this treasure...
(NOTE: The top image on this website is in fact a conglomeration of this photo and another one taken in the same area of China...)
